Spacious holiday home in the village of Holmstad in the heart of the scenic Eidsfjord. Magnificent view towards the beautiful fjord landscape and the mountain Reka. Midnight sun in summer. Rich sea fishing in the fjord, boat and motor can be hired. Great starting point for road trips in Lofoten and Vesterålen. The house was built in 1955 and renovated in 2019. Pleasantly furnished with a practical kitchen and large living room. The bathroom has a tiled floor with heating cables. The living room has large windows facing the fjord and a great view. Heat pump and wood-burning stove provide a comfortable temperature. 65-inch flat-screen TV with Riks-TV with Norwegian and international TV channels. Chromecast with many viewing options. Free internet/WIFI with large capacity. The living room has access to the conservatory/garden room where you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets in the evenings and the midnight sun. Car seats for children and prams available. The house is located 20 m from a rich fishing fjord. Terrace in front of the house and one more sheltered behind the house with outdoor furniture, grill and a inflatable hot tub. Enjoy the fresh and salty sea air and the magnificent view of the fjord landscape and the mountain Reka, which with its distinctive formation is a well-known tourist attraction. Rich sea fishing, a 14-foot boat with a 15 hp engine located by a floating jetty is for rent by week or by day. Great hiking terrain for the whole family, both along the fjord and in the mountains. The holiday home is a great starting point for day trips by car around Vesterålen and Lofoten. 14 km to Sortland, a modern coastal town with many restaurants and shops. The many fishing villages on Vesterålen's west side are also well worth a visit. Here, fishermen have struggled for their livelihood for generations with fishing boats on the high seas. At Andenes, you can take a boat to sea and see the big whales up close, an exciting experience for the whole family. Day trips to Lofoten by car ferry from Melbu to Fiskebøl. Visit Lofoten's "capital" Svolvær and the old fishing village of Henningsvær. 300 m to colonial shop. 500 m to pier with pub on Fridays. Parking by the house. A road with limited traffic passes in front of the house. Secondhand car can be rented.
