The luxurious Villa & Spa Althea will enchant you with its inspiring ambience and top location. Located in Medulin in the south of Istria, Villa Althea is a true oasis of peace with a beautiful sea view, surrounded by untouched nature.

Accommodation capacity of the villa is for a maximum of 9 people. The villa has a total of 4 air-conditioned rooms with ensuite bathrooms located on the upper floor. Each room also has a large, covered balcony of 25 m2 where you can enjoy romantic evenings. The bathrooms are fully equipped, and you also have a washing machine and dryer at your disposal, as well as an iron and ironing board.

On the ground floor of the villa there is a modern and very bright living room with access to a beautiful terrace with pool. Next to the living room there is a fully equipped kitchen, while feeder and a baby cot are also available.

On the terrace of the villa there is a large, infinity pool of 40 m2 and a depth of 1.45 m. There are 9 deck chairs around the pool, and in the spacious and fully fenced yard of the villa with a green lawn and outdoor furniture there is an outdoor electric grill and a summer kitchen. In the yard of the villa there are three parking spaces.

Additional facilities of the villa include a wellness room with jacuzzi and sauna, which will leave no one indifferent. In this top-notch spa experience, you will be able to indulge in complete relaxation and enjoy the company of your loved ones.

Once you decide to explore other attractions in Medulin, a beautiful Istrian town with a long fishing tradition, do not miss to visit the Medulin Bay with 11 uninhabited islands that hide a real wealth of untouched nature.

In Medulin and its surroundings you will find numerous beaches, bays and capes where you will enjoy the crystal clear Adriatic Sea. Do not miss to visit the surrounding places such as Premantura, Kamenjak, Pješčana uvala, Banjola where many interesting sites and attractions are hidden. For example, in Kamenjak you will find the Porer lighthouse from 1833, built on a cliff and located 1.5 miles southwest of the southernmost Istrian cape.

For all those who enjoy exploring historical sights more, there is Pula, a city with a rich ancient history. It houses the Roman amphitheater, one of the largest and best-preserved monuments from the time of Antiquity in Croatia.

Istria is also known for its top gastronomic offer, and in addition to fish specialties such as brudet, black risotto or crab, in this region you will find a gourmet specialty appreciated around the world. It is a truffle, an underground tuber that hides along the roots of trees, and the finds of this mushroom are most common in central Istria.

In addition to truffles, Istria is also known for top quality wine, and on many wine roads do not miss to visit one of the cellars where can be found some of the best labels of red, white or rosé wine of indigenous Istrian varieties such as Malvasia, Teran, Muscat, Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon.
