In the farmhouse built in 1707, which was renovated in 2020 according to building biology guidelines, we rent out a quiet and cosy holiday flat. The studio offers ideal space for two people. It is equipped with a modern kitchen, bathroom with shower and satellite TV. A staircase leads to the gallery with a cosy double bed. As a little break from everyday life, the in-house sauna with colour light therapy can be used for a small extra charge. If you wish, we can also heat up the hot tub in the garden for you to relax in. It is equipped with massage jets and an aerator. (separate fee / not possible in case of water shortageWe are nestled in a forest and agricultural zone. Schwellbrunn was voted the most beautiful village in Switzerland by the Swiss population in 2017. In summer, wonderful hiking trails can be explored right outside the front door. The Appenzellerland and the Lake Constance region offer various culinary, sporting or relaxing activities. There is something for everyone in the immediate vicinity. In winter, various snowshoe hiking trails pass close to the house. A cross-country ski trail can also be used day and night. The farmhouse is located just outside of Schwellbrunn on a private road. Direct access to the house is possible and parking spaces are available right next to the flat. The somewhat steep road, paved with Ecoraster, is not necessarily recommended for cars with long wheelbase or lowered cars. The nearest bus stop is a 30-minute walk away. By car it takes 10min to Herisau and 20min to the city of St. Gallen or Appenzell. The price includes bed linen, towels, electricity and parking. The final cleaning of CHF 45.- and the visitor's tax of CHF 1.- per person and night must be paid on site.  Sauna incl. sauna towels + shower towels and relaxation room CHF 50.-Hot Pot incl. bath Towels: CHF. 150.- (cash or TWINT)
