Charming, pleasant house with covered terrace

This cosy half-timbered house is just 10 minutes from the gigantic Lac du Der. The 28 m² covered terrace is remarkable and offers a view over the enclosed garden. A pleasant place to enjoy outdoor living, even when the weather is not so good.
Your pets are also welcome.

You will be staying on the edge of a small, authentic hamlet, surrounded by the gently sloping landscape of the Champagne region.
Hiking and cycling trails start right outside the door, and are also suitable for the more leisurely cyclist.

The Dutch owner lives in the neighbourhood, welcomes you personally and can help you with the French language, for example to book a restaurant.

Lac du Der" has something for everyone who loves nature and water.
From October to March, thousands of cranes spend the winter here every year. The peak is in November, with an average of 200,000 cranes.
You'll regularly see them all around your holiday home.
And if you're lucky, you may even see roe deer and foxes wandering around.

Supermarkets, bakers and restaurants are just 5 minutes away.

As well as its beautiful countryside, the region has much to offer in terms of culture and history.
Troyes and Verdun are well worth a visit. And of course there are many wine producers where you are welcome to taste their champagnes.

The house offers you an excellent fibre optic internet connection, made beds, bath and kitchen linen and possibly an unlimited supply of wood during the heating season.
