The Andalusian holiday home has a large, private, partially shaded patio. The patio sits at the edge of the building, ensuring a nice view and privacy. You can sit here and watch the kids play in the sand pit or ride the toy tractor. The house is wheelchair accessible from the parking spot. Enjoy the nature, the birds, and the sunset.
We organize special activities for the children, such as multisport races, a treasure hunt or swimming in the dark. If you would like to take a trip on your own - go ahead: upon request, we will watch your kids for a few hours. There is plenty of shade and the house is always nice and cool, even if it is hot outside. During spring/fall we often have younger visitor - babies to kindergarten age kids. The temperature is ideal then. Outside the kids will find large blocks, a toy tractor and a bobby car. There is also a sandpit and a small slide. The large pool is fenced in and right next to the houses. You can hike to the nearby river Arroyo - always a highlight for the kids. During the summer you can take the short, beautiful walk to Rio Grande. The holiday house sits in Andalusia's breath-taking nature.
After returning from the Costa del Sol, Malaga or another city, you are going to enjoy the peace and quiet here. There is plenty of space and it is very quiet. Andalusia also has many hiking trails, not just beach and ocean. Enjoy hiking to Rio Grande and the hilly landscape behind the holiday home. Other hiking destinations nearby are the Refugio de Juanar (only 20 km from the property) and the Sierra de las Nieves (one of Andalusia's largest natural reserves). There are hiking trails which are wheelchair and pram accessible. You can also reach the national park from Yunqera. Hike to the reservoir or the El Chorro gorge, the national park Montes de Malaga... books and maps can be found in the holiday home. Several horse riding stables can be found in the vicinity. From Gibraltar and Algeciras, you can go dolphin and whale watching. Take a trip to Malaga and visit the botanical gardens with plants from all over the world. Mountain biking is also great fun here! Bicycles can be rented in Coin. It is only about 35 km from the airport in Malaga to El Sigiloso. The holiday house is about 5 kilometres from Coin (about 20,000 residents). It offers everything you need. It does not get too many tourists visiting, yet there are often activities happening, such as the Dia de Naranja, de Romeria de la Fuensante and of course the feria (funfair and music). Andlausia also has a lot to offer culturally. Enjoy day trips to Malaga, Ronda, Cordoba or Granada. If you want to visit Seville (about 3 hours), we recommend staying the night, as Seville has so much to offer that you are going to need an extra day. Malaga: beautiful old town centre with a large pedestrian area and market place, history, shopping and tapas, the Picasso museum, the harbour, theatre and nightlife, the feria in August and Semana Santa on Easter (30 km). Granada: of course the Alhambra, but also the historical town centre (ca 2 hours). Cordoba: the Mezquita, a small historical centre, the old synagogue, the Alcazar, the Patio festival in Mai (ca 2 hours). Ronda: famous historical town centre, impressive gorge "El Tajo" with a bridge, bull fighting arena and a beautiful route - 1.5 hours - through Andalusia's mountains (not suited for people who get car sick easily). There are numerous beaches along the Costa del Sol with many activities or more quiet ones - the choice is yours. It is about a 30 minute drive from Coin to Marbella and Malaga. Possibilities abound! Antequera und El Torcal. Nerja east of Malaga is a beautiful swimming spot with caves and a cliff with a walkway "El Bacon de Europa". Mijas: very busy with tourists (one of the most popular places along the Costa del Sol) with beautiful views from a 428 meter elevation and many souvenir shops. Gibraltar: a typical English town with pubs, Bobbies, etc. where you can see Africa, monkeys and caves (1.5 hours). Tarifa (just past Gibraltar): beautiful centre, hippie culture, beautiful beach with kite surfers (ca 2 hours). Marbella; a traditional, historic town centre with a pedestrian zone and luxury shops, a boardwalk.
A regular car will allow you to take beautiful trips though the Sierra de las Nieves, El Torcal, Sierra Prieta and the Montes de Malaga and the white villages. Shopping: Shopping enter de Cañada, just before Marbella and the de Plaza Mayor in Malaga: many shops (Hennes, Zara), the FNAC, supermarket, restaurants etc. Several pedestrian only shopping streets, such as the Cortes Ingles. Or take a trip to Puerto Banus, the designer store and luxurious yacht harbour and expensive cars.
This part of Spain enjoys a tempered Mediterranean climate. Enjoy the stunning blue skies and the beautiful sun. During the summer it is warm and dry. The average temperature is 30 degrees. By the ocean, you can enjoy a cooling breeze. Since the holiday homes face north, they do not get very warm and air conditioning is not necessary. A fan is available for your use. The property offers many shaded spots. It often cools of at night. The winters are mild with little rain. If it rains, it does not last. The days are much longer than in Germany, since Andalusia is that much closer to the equator. Even in December or January, you can enjoy the beach or the patio. Spring and fall bring long and beautiful days. Early February: the almonds trees are in bloom and the sheep are on the hills. September: first rainfall, nature reawakens.
