    “In Altharlingersiel gibt es nicht so viel (1x Cafe, 1x Restaurant), aber Carolinensiel und Neuharlingersiel sind nicht weit entfernt. Die beiden Edeka Filialen und der Netto haben auch am Sonntag stundenweise geöffnet. Wittmund, Esens, Aurich und Norden sind mit dem Auto recht schnell erreicht und bieten noch andere Geschäfte und Lokale.
    In Dornumersiel gibt es einen schönen Strand, den man mit der Kurkarte umsonst nutzen kann; die Parkgebühren dort sind auch nicht so hoch.”
